First lets calculate the base area of the triangular prism.
area of triangle: (base * height)/2
in this triangle we are given 1 leg and the hypotenuse, we must find what the other leg is so we use Pythagorean. sqrt(100-64)= 6
finding the area of triangle base: (6*8)/2 = 24 in^2
finding the volume:
(B= 24 in^2 ) * (h=15 in) = 360 in ^3
