Question 961297: (sqrt2)(sinx)(cosx)+(cosx)=0
Cosx(sqrt2*sinx+1)=0
cosx(sqrt2*sinx+1)^2=0
Where do I go after this? (besides expanding the parentheses that is being squared)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! (sqrt2)(sinx)(cosx)+(cosx)=0
Cosx(sqrt2*sinx+1)=0
cosx(sqrt2*sinx+1)^2=0
Where do I go after this? (besides expanding the parentheses that is being squared)
----------------
cosx(sqrt(2)*sinx+1)=0
cosx(sqrt2*sinx+1)^2=0 ************** There's no reason to square it.
----------
cosx(sqrt(2)*sinx+1)=0
cos(x) = 0
x = pi/2 + n*pi n = 0,1,2,3...
-------------
sinx+1=0
sin(x) = -1
x = 3pi/2 + 2n*pi n = 0,1,2,3...
