You can put this solution on YOUR website!
8%5Ex=16%5E%28-1%29

%282%5E3%29%5Ex=%282%5E4%29%5E%28-1%29 -------this one and...

2%5E%283x%29=2%5E%28-4%29----------this one,
seem to be the missing steps.

3x=-4

x=-4%2F3

You might be able to jump through steps in your head and not feel the need to write them, but other people cannot always see through what you skipped.
