Question 96031: find the intercepts of the line
y= -x + 6

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
when x=0 y=6 y intercept = (0,6)
when y=0 -x+6=0
subtract 6 from both sides. -x=-6
multiply -1 times both sides x=6 the x intercept=(6,0)
Check it out on the graph below. See where the line crosses the x axis and the y axis (the x and y intercepts)
