SOLUTION: Use half number identity to find tan (-pi/8)
I get that its a 45 degree so 1- cos45/ 1sin45
and i did 1 - (square root 2/2) / -(-square root 2/2)
I tried - square root 2 -1 and

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Use half number identity to find tan (-pi/8)
I get that its a 45 degree so 1- cos45/ 1sin45
and i did 1 - (square root 2/2) / -(-square root 2/2)
I tried - square root 2 -1 and that was wrong
I tried square root 2 +1 and thats wrong
Is it supposed to be 1 + square root of 2?
========================
Is it supposed to be 1 + square root of 2?
Is that the answer?
Use a calculator to check it.
tan(-pi/8) =~ -0.414213562
= -sqrt(2) + 1
