5x - 8y = 4 ............ (2)
By Eq.(1)* 8, we get,
56x + 8y =16 ............ (3)

Eq.(2)+(3), we get
61x = 20
So x = 20%2F61
by replacing the value of x in Eq. (1), we get
7*20%2F61 + y = 2
= 140%2F61 + y = 2

= y = 2 - 140%2F61

= y = 122%2F61 - 140%2F61
y = %28122-140%29%2F61 = -18%2F61
so x = 20%2F61; y = -18%2F61; Answer.
