S+6yr=2(M+6yr) Substitute for S.
M+18yr+6yr=2M+12yr
M+24yr=2M+12yr Subtract M+12yr from each side.
12yr=M ANSWER: Mona is currently 12 years old

S=M+18yrs=12yr+18yr=30yr Sana is 30 years old.
S+6yrs=2(M+6yrs)
