You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let x be the temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius
x = 1.8x+32
1.8x-x+32 = 0
0.8x = -32
x = -40
Therefore a temperature that's the same in Fahrenheit and Celsius is -40

We want to find F=C
F=1.8C+32 Substitute for F
C=1.8C+32 Subtract 32 from each side.
C-32=1.8C Subtract C from each side.
-32=0.8C Divide each side by 0.8.
-40=C
Fahrenheit and Celsius scales are equal at -40 degrees.
