You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Inside of sidewalk: 25ft x 50ft
Outside of sidewalk: 37ft x 62ft
Perimeter=2(L+W)=2(62ft+37ft)=2(99ft)=198ft
ANSWER 1: 198 feet of fencing would be needed to enclose the sidewalk.
Area of the sidewalk=total area of pool and walk-area of pool
Area of sidewalk=(62ft)(37ft)-(50ft)(25ft)=2294 sq ft-1250 sq ft=1044 sq ft
ANSWER 2: The area of the sidewalk is 1044 square feet.
