Question 957042: how to find the surface area for a prism with base width of 32 , length of 49 and height of 41?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Formula for the surface area of a rectangular prism: SA = 2*(L*W + W*H + L*H)
SA = surface area
L = length
W = width
H = height
In this case,
SA = unknown (for now)
L = 49
W = 32
H = 41
SA = 2*(L*W + W*H + L*H)
SA = 2*(49*32 + 32*41 + 49*41)
SA = 9,778 square units
