(2) +4a+-+b+=+3+
Add (1) and (2)
(1) +a+%2B+b++=+42+
(2) +4a+-+b+=+3+
-------------------
+5a+=+45+
+a+=+9+
and
(1) +9+%2B+b++=+42+
(1) +b+=+33+
----------------
The numbers are 9 and 33
check:
4 times the 1st number is +36+
3 less than that is +33+
that is the 2nd number
