You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A recipe asks for 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. A second recipe asks for 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and the third one asks for 1/8 teaspoon vanilla. How much vanilla is needed in all three recipes.
:
Put all three amounts over the same denominator:
We know that:
1/4 = 2/8
and
1/2 = 4/8
:
Easy to add now:
2%2F8+%2B+4%2F8+%2B+1%2F8 = 7%2F8 of teaspoon for all 3 recipes
