Question 95614: Solve and check. Not really understanding this. Could someone please show me how to solve this correctly? Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! x/(x-2)-(x+1)/(x)=(8)/(x^2-2x)
Multiply thru by x(x-2) to get:
x^2 - (x+1)(x-2) = 8
x^2 -x^2 +x +2 = 8
x=6
