The number of flaws per sheet in a certain grade of plywood has a mean of 3 and a standard deviation of 0.9.
(A) If possible, find the probability that a randomly chosen sheet of plywood has 3 or more flaws. If impossible, tell why.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The Probability (Pr) that a randomly chosen sheet of plywood has 3 or more flaws = 1 - Pr(X<3)
now calculate the z-value for x<3,
z-value = (3 - 3) / 0.9 = 0,
consult table of z values for associated Pr
Pr(X<3) = 0.5 and
The Probability (Pr) that a randomly chosen sheet of plywood has 3 or more flaws = 1 - 0.5 = 0.5
