You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3/n of the children below 5 years of age are properly nourished.

this means that (n-3)/n of the children below 5 years of are are not properly nourished.

if there are c children below 5 years, this means that (n-3) * c / n of them are not properly nourished.

let's see if this makes sense.

assume n = 9

this means that 3 out of 9 children are properly nourished.

this means that 6 out of 9 children are not properly nourished.

if you have 9000 students, then:

3/9 * 9000 = 3000 are properly nourished.

(9-3)/9 * 9000 = 6/9 * 9000 = 6000 are not properly nourished.

this makes sense.

so, from the formula, you get:

3/n are nourished.

(n-3)/n are not nourished.

if there are c children, then:

3/n * c are nourished.

(n-3)/n * c are not nourished.

not nourished means insufficiently nourished.
