Question 954312: what would be the slop for this problem ? im having trouble understanding this whole lesson I am learning in school .. Y= -2x+3 ... Answer by josgarithmetic(39620) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Create a x|y data table, and compute the change in y for change in x, and note the value of this change. You should see that it is identical to one of the numbers in your equation; specifically the coefficient on the x term.
SLOPE mean ratio of vertical change to horizontal change.
