You can put this solution on YOUR website! IF you are going 80 miles per hour you are going to take far LESS than one hour to travel one mile. The time unit hour is not going to help you. can you think of any other time unit?
How about minutes? How many minutes in one hour? And this will not help either, because one hour has 60 minutes and you are going 80 miles x 60 minutes, you are going faster than a mile a minute!
So what comes next? Seconds? How many seconds in one minute? I think there are 60 second in one minute. Check, make sure you agree. But wait, 80 miles per HOUR, we need to convert our unit of measure to hours. So, 1 hour = 60 minutes and 1 minute = 60 seconds, 60 x 60 = 3,600 seconds in one hour. Now we've got something we can work with: 3600/80 = 45 seconds. It takes you 45 seconds (under a minute) to travel 1 mile.
