You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3x-2y=4
-2y=-3x+4
y=-3x/-2+4/-2
y=1.5x-2 (red line)
this slope is 1.5 therefore the line perpendicular has a slope of -1/1.5 or -2/3.
having the same y intercept(-2) & a slope of -2/3 we have the equation:
y=-2x/3-2 answer. (green line) (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -6 to 5, of TWO functions y = 1.5x -2 and y = -2x/3 -2).
