Question 951995: Since employers only look at resumes for less than a minute (on average), how will you make your resume stand out?
2. Find an online resume formatting tool, that works for your experience level. Share the link with your classmates in your post and describe why you like this particular tool.
3. There is a job opening at your local mini golf course as a birthday event coordinator. What would the ideal candidate include in their resume. Be sure consider education and training, skills, and achievements, and work experience.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! This is not necessarily a math question, but I'll give it a shot.
1. What is the most important thing on your resume for this job? Highlight it. If it's education, make that prominent. If it's experience, show that. Remember to keep your resume short and a single page.
2. Microsoft Word has built-in resume templates. If you have that, it will be -- by far -- the easiest way to go. If not, try http://www.resumebuilderonline.org/ -- or any other one you find in a search engine. Note that most start out free, but add costs.
3. Mini-golf birthday coordinator should be someone high-energy, personable, experienced with children, pleasant disposition, clean-cut and presentable. Ideal with be a person with a communications degree, although they're unlikely to work for what the mini-golf place will pay them.
Good luck!
