What will be the water level if a rock of 16 cm by 12 cm by 12 cm is dropped into the tank?

Find the volume of the water and the rock
32 * 24 * 12 = 9216 cu/cm of water
16 * 12 * 12 = 2304 cu/cm of rock

Vol of both: 11520 cu/cm water & rock

Find the height (h) of the water now
32 * 24 * h = 11520
768h = 11520
h = 11520/768
h = 15 cm is the height with the rock in it
