sqrt%28+126+%29+=+sqrt%28+9%2A14+%29+ Factor 126 into 9*14. Notice how 9 is a perfect square.


sqrt%28+126+%29+=+sqrt%28+9%29%2Asqrt%2814+%29+ Break up the root.


sqrt%28+126+%29+=+3%2Asqrt%2814+%29+ Take the square root of 9 to get 3.
