Question 950761: Question: If the area of a golden rectangle is 6m squared, what are the length and width of it?
I know how to get the length or the width if I know the other, but I am confused on how to get both.
Length/width = length +width / length
L/W = L+W/W = L/W = L/L + W/L = 1 + W/L

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The golden rectangle means that the length and width have a given ratio.
L=%28%281%2Bsqrt%285%29%29%2F2%29W
That together with,
L%2AW=6
allows you to solve for L and W.
