Find how many man-days to dig the pond
50 * 16 = 800 man-days

How many laboures will be required to dig another pond, double in size in 20 days.
Assume a pond double in size requires 1600 man-days
let m - number of men required to do this 20 days
20m = 1600
m = 1600/20
m = 80 men required

1 pond/16 days=1/16 pond/day Fifty laborers dig 1/16th pond per day.
(1/16 pond/day)/50 laborers=1/800 pond per day per laborer Each laborer digs 1/800 pond per day.
To dig a pond double that, basically 2 ponds in 20 days is 2 ponds/20 days=1/10 pond/day.
(1/10 pond/day)/(1/800 pond/day/laborer)=80 laborers
ANSWER It would require 80 laborers to dig a pond twice the size in 20 days
