You can put this solution on YOUR website!
8(8 - 3x) = 27^(2/3) = 9
8 - 3x = 9/8
-3x = -55/8
x = 55/24

            The solution by  @Penguin is  INCORRECT.

            I came to bring you a correct solution.

8*(8 - 3x)^(3/2) = 27  ------>

(8 - 3x)^(3/2) =  27%2F8  ---->  raise both sides to the degree of  (2/3)

8 - 3x =  %2827%2F8%29%5E%282%2F3%29

8 - 3x = 9%2F4

8 - 9%2F4 = 3x

23%2F4 = 3x

x = 23%2F12.      ANSWER

Solved (correctly).
