You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let East be positive x and North be positive y.
Then starting from ( , ), pilot first goes 300km East.
( , )+( , )=( , )
Then 300km NE,
( , )+( , )=( , )+( , )=( , )
So the plane has traveled 512.1 miles East.
The angle that the bearing makes with the x-axis would be found using the tangent.

So I'm assuming that the bearing you need is from North (positive y) which would be,
