A. Find a linear function that expresses pressure as a function of depth
Find the slope (m) with x/y pairs:
x1 = 100 y1 = 4
x2 = 200 y2 = 7
m = %28%287-4%29%29%2F%28%28200-100%29%29%29 = 3%2F100 = .03 is the slope
At 0 depth, there will be 1 atm, therefore y = 1 when x=0:
f(x) = .03x + 1
