You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are 500 students in a class.If there are 25 more boys than girls, how many girls arenin the class.
------------------
Equations::
b + g = 500 students
b = g + 25
-------------
Substitute for "b" and solve for "g"::
g+25 + g = 500
2g = 475
g = 237.5 (girls)
Note:: That answer should be a whole number
b = g+25
b = 237.5+25 = 262.5 (boys)
----------------
