why does a negative times a negative equal a positive like:
because -(-x) is the additive inverse of -x
but -x + x= 0
therefore -(-x) must be x

-2(5m-3)= -10m+6

Wrong! -10m(6)=-60m
Correct -2(5m-3)=-10m+6
