You can put this solution on YOUR website!

if the length L of a rectangle is 40% more than its width W, then we have
L=W%2B%2840%2F100%29W
L=W%2B0.40W
L=1.40W
if its area is 560cm%5E2, then
560cm%5E2=L%2AW.....substitute L
560cm%5E2=1.40W%2AW
560cm%5E2=1.40W%5E2
560cm%5E2%2F1.40=W%5E2
400cm%5E2=W%5E2
W=sqrt%28400cm%5E2%29
highlight%28W=20cm%29
now find the length:
L=1.40W
L=1.40%2A20cm
highlight%28L=28cm%29
