You can put this solution on YOUR website!
note that when 10 kg of ice melts, it produces 10 kg of water
10 kg of water is 10 liters of water and
1 liter of water is 1000 cubic centimeters and
10 liters of water is 10,000 cubic centimeters, therefore
10000 = pi*r^2*30, where r is the radius of the cylindrical pail
pi*r^2 = 10000 / 30 = 333.333333333
r^2 = 333.333333333 / pi = 106.103295381
take square root of both sides of =
r = 10.300645387
diameter of cylindrical pail = 2*10.300645387 = 20.601290773 cm
