You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Suppose your club is selling candles to raise money. It costs $100 to rent a booth from which to sell the candles. If the candlles cost your club $1 each and are sold for $5 each, how many must be sold to equal your expenses?

Rent of the booth = $100
selling rice of the candle = $5

Number of candles to be sold to meet the expenses = Rent of the booth/selling price of the candle

Candles to be sold = $100/$5
= 20
20 candles has to be sold to meet the expenses.
