You can put this solution on YOUR website! How do I find the sum of the consecutive positive integers 50, 51, 52,...700?
==========
There are several ways.
You can have Excel do it.
You can make groups: 50 - 99, 100 - 199, 200 - 299
The 200 - 299 group's sum will be 10000 more than the 100 - 199 group, etc.
You can use a calculator.
----------
I would do this:
50 - 700 inclusive is 651 numbers, with the center at (50 + 700)/2 = 375
That can be viewed at 325 pairs, each pair is 375, + the 375 in the center.
The pairs are 50 & 700, 51 & 699, 52 & 698, etc
