You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the cost of the dictionary be x.
After a 30% reduction the cost of the dictionary is (x-3x/10) i.e.7x/10
7x/10=30.80
x=10*30.80/7=308/7=44.
The original cost of the dictionary is $44.
