Question 942843: Arturo the Antelope and Penelope the Penguin work at A and P in Bedford, NY. Penelope can completely stock the frozen foods section in 15 hours. Working together Arturo and Penelope can finish the task in 9 hours. How long would it take Arturo if he worked alone?
I have tried and tried on this problem but am getting no where.

Penelope stocks Frozen foods section/15 hours= 1/15 section per hour
In 9 hours, she stocks 9/15 of the section, leaving 6/15 for Arturo
If Arturo stocks 6/15 (or 2/5)in 9 hours, he stocks (2/5)/9= 2/45 per hour
To do 45/45 ( or the whole section) at 2/45 per hour would require
=22.5 hours for Arturo to stock alone.

Let x be the time it would take Arturo to complete working alone.
(1/15)+ (1/x)=(1/9)
(15+ x) / 15x = (1/9)
135 + 9x = 15x
135 = 6x
x = 22h 30min
