You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Here you go:
.3x-.4%2A%284-x%29=4.7
Lets first simplify by multiplying:
.3x-1.6%2B.4x=4.7} Here we multiplied each factor in the (4-X)by -.4
Now combine terms:
.3x%2B.4x-1.6=4.7 = .7x-1.6=4.7
Now add 1.6 to both sides to get: .7x=6.3
Now divide both sides by .7 to get x=9
Answer
X=9
