You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solution:
Let A= Spade Card
B= 3 Card
Then,
P(A)= 13/52 (there are 13 "spade cards")
P(B)= 4/52 (there are 4 "3 cards")
P(A∩B)= 1/52 ("spade" and "3" cards)
Hence, P(AUB)= P(A)+ P(B)- P(A∩B)
=13/52+ 4/52- 1/52
=16/52
=0.3076
