You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The formula given d=rt is distance=rate x time
The rate is given: r=25 mph and the distance: d=1246.5 mi
First solve the equation for time:
d=rt divide each side by r
d/r=rt/r
d/r=t so time is distance divided by rate
Solve given for time
t=d/r=1246.5 mi/25 mi/hr=49.86 hrs
To get distance at any given time:
d=rt in this case
d=25mph t or distance is the rate (25 mph) times time (in hours)
We can graph the equation:
+graph%28+500%2C+500%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-100%2C+100%2C+25x%29+
but I'm not sure what kind of table you are looking for.
