AREA=PI*6*6 THUS THE RADIUS IS 6 CM.
CIRCUMFERANCE=2PIR
C=2*3.14*6

Area of circle is given by the formula, A = pie+%28r%5E2%29, where A is the area and r is the radius of the circle.


Here, A = 36 pie


==> 36%28pie%29+=+pie+%28r%5E2%29

Divide both sides of the expression by +pie+


==> 36%28pie%29%2F%28pie%29++=+pie+%28r%5E2%29%2F+%28pie%29


==> 36++=++r%5E2


Take square root on both sides...


==> +sqrt+%2836%29++=+sqrt%28+r%5E2%29


==> r = 6 or -6

Since radius can never be negative, you can take r = 6

So, radius = 6


Now circumference of a circle is given by the formula, +2%28pie%29+r


So circumference = +2%28pie%29+6


==> +12%28pie%29++

Circumference = 12%2A%283.14%29
