You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Jack=Jill-58 years
If the sum their ages totals 92 in seven years the sum is presently:
92-14 (7 years for each)=78 years
So Jill + Jack=78 years
Substitute for Jack, solve for Jill:
Jill + Jill -58 years=78 years
Jill+Jill=136 years Add 58 years to both sides
2Jill=136
Jill=68 Divide both sides by 2 ANSWER Jill's Age
This would make Jack 10
CHECK:
In 7 years, Jack will be 17 and Jill will be 75
Jack in 7 + Jill in 7=92 years
17 years + 75 years=92 years
92 years=92 years
