9x+7=5x-3 to do this you subtract the 5x from 5x and from 9x
add 3 to -3 and to 7.
for every thing you do to one side you do to the other side. you are trying to seperat every thing
doing the things above you get 4x+10=0. subtract 10 from each side
you get 4x=-10 then got to divide 4 from each side.
your final answer is -2 1/2
