I = Prt, Assuming t = 1 year
.08%28P%2F2%29+%2B+.06%28P%2F2%29+=+210 Multiplying thru by 2 so as all denominators = 1
.14P = 420
P = 420/.14 = $3000
And...checking ($1500 at each rate)
$120 + $90 = $210
