Question 939628: The consecutive angles of a parallelogram measure (x+30)deg and 4x deg. What is the smallest angle? Answer by laoman(51) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! In a parallelogram, the sum of the consecutive angles is 180 degrees
Therefore,
5*x+30 =180
5*x = 180-30
x=150/5 = 30
Knowing x, we can find the angles first, which are
4*x=4*30=120
and x+30=30+30=60
Since the remaining two angles of the parallelogram are also 120 and 60 , the smallesr angle is 60 degrees.
