g(x)= x^2-4

x^2-4 is over x-2 Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! State the domain for each rational function
-------
In general the domain is "All Real Numbers".
I will list the elements that are NOT in the Domain.
----------------------
f(x)= (x-3)/(x-1)
Exclude x = 1
----------------------------
g(x)= (x^2-4)/(x-2)
Exclude x = 2
----------------------------
Why?? In each case the excluded number would make the denominator equal zero.
