{3x + 4y = 8
This is to be solved
I came up with(-3,5)
Can you please tell me if this is right if not can you give me the easiest steps to get the right answer

You can put this solution on YOUR website! -2x - 2y = 6
3x + 4y = 8
This is to be solved
I came up with(-3,5)
Can you please tell me if this is right if not can you give me the easiest steps to get the right answer
=================
Sub -3 for x & 5 for y and see if it works.
-2x - 2y = 6
-2*(-3) - 2*5 =? 6
6 - 10 =? 6
Not equal. No reason to check the other equation.
How did you get (-3,5)?
----------------
Multiply the 1st eqn by 2, then add the 2nd eqn.
