You can put this solution on YOUR website!
m = 1/2 , (4,8)
y - y1 = m(x - x1) {point-slope form}
y - 8 = (1/2)(x - 4) {substituted point and slope into point-slope form}
2y - 16 = x - 4 {multiplied entire equation by 2, to eliminate fraction}
x - 2y = -12 {subtracted 2y and added 4 to each side to get into standard form}

Standard Form, Ax+By=C.

Know point-slope form?

y-8=x%2F2-2
2y-16=x-4
-x%2B2y=16-4
