A) Locate x = -2 on the x axis. Draw a vertical line through this x value. Notice how this vertical line and the blue curve cross at about (-2, 6). So f(-2) is approximately 6.

B) Draw a horizontal line through y = -4. This line cuts through the function at around (-6, -4), (2, -4) and (4, -4). These are approximations.
