Question 937341: A random sample of 61 students was asked how much they spent for classroom textbooks this semester. The sample standard deviation was found to be s = $28.70. How many more students should be included in the sample to be 99% confident that the sample mean amount spent for textbooks this semester is within $7.00 of the population mean amount spent for textbooks this semester at this college?
I am not sure how to solve this question to within $7 of the mean.
