That means David is always 25 years older than his daughter.

David's age now = Daughter's age now + 25

Let daughter's age now = x
Then David's age now = x+25 

Now his age exceeds 4 times his daughter's age by 10 years.
x + 25 = 4x + 10

Solve that to get daughter's age and then add 25 to get David's age.
