If you draw this out you would see a right triangle from the point to the tree to the top of the tree.
The tangent of an angle of a right triangle = opposite/adjacent
tan%2826%29=x%2F10.8m
10.8m%2Atan%2826%29=10.8m%28x%2F10.8m%29
10.8m%2Atan%2826%29=x
Use a scientific calculator to find: x=5.2675 meters
You can round off to whatever decimal you were asked to like x=5.27 meters
