Question 936205: if a rectangle has an area of 40 meters squared, and 2 sides equal 4cm, how long will the remaining sides be? Answer by srinivas.g(540) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! area = 40 m^2
one side = 4 cm = 4/100 m ( 1 cm = 1/100 m)
area = one side *other side
multiply with 100 on both sides
divide with 4 on both sides
other side = 1000 m
Result: other side = 1000 m
